Rawson's Retreat is named after Christopher Rawson Penfold's original stone cottage, which still stands among the vines at Magill Estate, in Adelaide, South Australia.
The wine is an affordable, everyday, easy-drinking wine and is a classic Australian marriage of fruit power and structure.
The fruit is drawn from various South Australian wine regions, in particular, Padthaway, Langhorne Creek, Riverland and McLaren Vale.
