Barossa Valley Cellar Door
Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, north of Adelaide is the Penfolds Barossa Valley Winery and Cellar Door. Built in 1911 to expand the business home base beyond Magill this site became the focal point of Penfolds winemaking in the 1970s, as more and more fruit was sourced from the Barossa and Clare Valley.
Today the cellar door offers a comprehensive selection of wines for tasting, just a stone's throw from the cellars where Peter Gago and his wine making team work through the year to ferment and mature Penfolds world famous wines.
Public tastings are available as well as a range of personalised tastings including the opportunity to taste our world-renowned Grange together with a range of Penfolds premium wines.
Tailored tastings can also be organised for group bookings and can be arranged by contacting the Cellar Door.

- Cost: $150 per person
- Price includes a $30 Gift Satchel, $100 Grange Voucher*, exclusivity to Museum Wines and Free Freight within Australia. Pricing valid till 31st March, 2008.
- Visit the home of the Penfolds Winemaking Team to discover the philosophy and spirit behind Australia's greatest wine. Tour the winery with an expert wine educator, who will guide you through the Southern Hemisphere's largest Premium Red Barrel Cellar. Then complete you experience with 'A Taste Of Grange' and other celebrated Penfolds wines.

- Bookings: Essential, 24 hour notice required. The experience requires a minimum of two people.
- *Participating guests are offered $100AU off the price of Grange. Grange Voucher is not transferable and redeemable only on day of tour. Restrictions may be made on selected vintages.
- Make Your Own Blend Tour
- Cost: $55 per person
- Pricing valid till 31st March, 2008
- After a tour of the winery and wine cellars, guests are invited to the Winemakers' Laboratory, to try blending their own wine from Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre, like Penfolds' own Bin 138. The wine is then presented to take home in a personlised bottle.
